As I've noted previously, the Escape is needing around 1oz of brake fluid every 1000 miles. Last time I cleaned off the master cylinder and brake fluid reservoir and they're fairly dirty again now. There might be a slight crack in the plastic reservoir, but the rate of loss hasn't changed much in the past years.
